Abstract
The results of study of interrelations between values and attitudes to innovations of Canadian and Russian students (Russians and representatives of Northern Caucasia), n = 426 per. are presented. Correlation between individuals' values and their attitudes to innovations are determined. Significant intercultural and intergender differences in value priorities and attitudes to innovations are revealed. By means of multiple regression analysis it has been revealed that values of Openness to changes (Independence, Stimulation) and Universalism facilitate positive attitudes to innovations while values of Power and Tradition - hamper. Correlations of values and attitudes to innovations have universal character as well as culture-specific.
