Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Advanced practice nursing has become increasingly important today, especially due to inequality in access to public health care and limitations in the coverage of health services, particularly in primary care. This situation was most clearly evidenced during the 2020 pandemic. It should be emphasized that advanced practice nursing does not seek to replace the physician, but rather to make available to the population the professional expertise of nurses, supported by their postgraduate training and the use of evidence-based clinical protocols. Their work encompasses both disease prevention and the treatment of certain pathologies for which they are duly trained. The implementation of this model aims to decongest health services, improve user access and increase the perception of patient satisfaction. In countries such as Canada and the United States, advanced practice nursing has been successfully adopted, demonstrating its effectiveness through positive impact indicators. In the context of developing nations, advances in Brazil, Mexico and Chile stand out, where the benefits of this initiative are expected to be consolidated in the coming years.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
