Abstract
Tässä pro gradu -tutkielmassa tutkitaan Suomen evankelisluterilaisten seurakuntien sijoitusten vastuullisuutta tapaus eli casetutkimuksena. Vastuullisuuteen liittyvät olennaisena osana PRI-periaatteiden (Principles for Responsible Investment) sekä ESG-asioiden (Environment, Social and Governance) huomioinen sijoituspäätöksien teossa. \n \nTutkielman empiirinen osuus on toteutettu teemahaastatteluina case-seurakuntiin. Haastattelut toteutettiin puolistrukturoituina teemahaastatteluina, joissa haastateltiin case-seurakuntien talouspäälliköitä/johtajaa seurakunnan sijoituksista ja niihin liittyvistä päätöksistä. Haastattelujen teemana oli vastuullinen sijoittaminen. \n \nTutkielman tuloksista havaitaan, että seurakuntien sijoituspäätöksissä on mukana ESG-näkökulmia, mutta seurakunnat eivät aktiivisesti pyri edistämään ESG-asioiden toteutumista. Seurakunnat eivät myöskään raportoi sijoituksiensa vastuullisuudesta.
