Abstract
Opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli tehostaa kohdeyrityksen varastomyymälän toimintaa. Toiminnan tehostaminen pyrittiin saavuttamaan lisäämällä kuormahyllyjen määrää varastomyymälässä. Toiminnan tehostaminen vaati myös\ntuotesijoittelun parantamista ja vanhojen kuormalavahyllyjen sijainnin muuttamista. Toiminnan tehostamista tarkasteltiin myyjien ja asiakkaiden näkökulmasta. Tarkoituksena oli tarjota kohdeyritykselle helposti toteutettavia ratkaisuja joiden kustannukset olisivat alhaiset. Opinnäytetyön tekeminen oli mielekästä ja opinnäytetyön tekijän ehdotukset\notettiin hyvin vastaan kohdeyrityksessä ja muutoksista saatiin aikaa rakentavia keskusteluja työntekijöiden kanssa. Muutoksista keskusteleminen toi opinnäytetyön tekijälle uusia näkökulmia ongelmiin ja ongelmakohtiin saatiin kaikkia osapuolia miellyttäviä ratkaisuja. Opinnäytetyön tekijä on tehnyt kaikki työssä käytetyt CAD-kuvat AutoCAD 2010-ohjelmalla.\nOpinnäytetyössä esitetyt tulokset otettiin kohdeyrityksessä hyvin vastaan ja työtoteutettiin opinnäytetyön tekijän johdolla kohdeyrityksessä.
