Abstract
As a marginalized group with no legal recognition and inadequate protection, the rights of commercial \nsex workers in Bangladesh are often violated. As commercial sex work has a detrimental impact on \nwomen's health, this paper examines the health problems and diseases that commercial sex workers \nsuffer from, the assistance and services available to them and their ability to access them. Analyzing \nthese issues through focus group discussions and interviews, the paper identifies causes of the \nviolation and denial of access to health rights for commercial sex workers. The paper recommends \nmeasures the various stakeholders need to take in order to improve the situation of the girls and \nwomen who are trapped in a heartless and abusive environment without economic or social support.
