Abstract
Maryna Chernyavska. Folklore Programs in Canadian Universities. This article offers a survey of the academic folklore programs in Canadian universities. The author describes five major programs in different Canadian universities, which offer a degree in folklore. The history and the development of folklore studies are traced until today, as well as the peculiarities of each program. In addition, various resources for folklore students and professionals in Canada are discussed.
