Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Vagabond: Housing for the Mobile Adult
\ndeals with the precarious housing of the mobile
\nadult. The mobile adult is a term coined by the
\nauthor to describe the age group of 20-34 years
\nold who are currently seeking social stability.
\nThat is to achieve the milestones of marriage,
\nproperty ownership and income. However, the
\nlack of job opportunities, affordable housing and
\nhigh cost of living prolong their life goals.
\nThis thesis addresses the current
\ninaccessibility of housing in Toronto and suggest
\nanother way of providing opportunities for living
\nin the city. Its theory revolves around Zygmunt
\nBauman’s Liquid Life and Charles Jenck’s
\nAdhocism, exploring the themes of integration
\nand alternative housing systems through ad-hoc
\nmeans. This thesis explores three scales. The
\ninterior scale addresses the temporary state of
\nmobile adults and their need for mobility. The
\narchitectural scale examines how the building
\nscale can integrate the mobile adult into an
\nexisting neighbourhood and how architecture
\ncan function as a social platform. The third scale,
\nthe neighbourhood scale, explores urban infill as
\nan opportunity for housing development.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
