AL quick look: Indians' Kluber flirts with no-hitter
Bibliographic record
Abstract
Strikes out 18 batters in win vs. Cardinals An 18-strikeout game gives last year's AL Cy Young Award winner his first win of the season. Here's a quick look at action from around the American League and in interleague play. Cleveland Indians pitcher Corey Kluber struck out 18 and carried a no-hitter into the 7th inning in a 2-0 win over the St. Louis Cardinals. His 18 strikeouts tie the franchise record set of Hall of Famer Bob Feller in 1938. It's also the most strikeouts any AL pitcher has racked up in 17 years. Texas Rangers designated hitter Prince Fielder had a big day at the plate. He racked up 3 hits, including a two-run homer, as the Rangers beat the Kansas City Royals 5-2. The Boston Red Sox shut out the Oakland A's 2-0. The Baltimore Orioles cruised by the Toronto Blue Jays 6-1. The Minnesota Twins racked up 12 hits in a 6-2 victory over the Detroit Tigers. And the Tampa Bay Rays beat the New York Yankees 3-2. In interleague games, Chicago White Sox topped the Milwaukee Brewers 4-2. The L-A Angels went to extra innings, but beat the Colorado Rockies 2-1. And the Houston Astros earned a 4-3 win over the San Francisco Giants.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
