Le Canada, qui couvre la moitie superieure du continent nord-americain, est le deuxieme pays au monde pour sa superficie.II s'tend sur plus 5500 kilometres de L'Atlantique au Pacifique, et sur plus de 4600 kilomdtres depuis la pointe la plus au nord de /7/e Ellesmere jusqu' la frontire americaine.II compte 27 millions d'habitants.L'anglais et le franais, langues officielles du pays, possedent un statut et des droits 6gaux.Le franais est la langue maternelle de la majorite des citoyens bilingues.La population du Canada sa caracterise principalement et un facteur d'accroissement demographique important.La geographie, le commerce et l' histoire ont tiss de solides liens entre le Canada et les Etats-Unis.Les relations turco-canadiennes, surtout commerciales ne sont pas satisfaisantes.
