Formé par Alexandre Arnaoutov à l’École Nationale de Cirque de Montréal, Alexandre Lane a créé ce numéro de cadre russe avec Emilie Fournier. Porteur à la fois élégant et puissant, Alexandre s’inscrit dans la tradition d’une discipline fondée au début du XX e siècle en Union Soviétique par le père de son professeur. Son duo avec Émilie, remarquable voltigeuse, fonctionne sur une précision et une justesse rythmique exceptionnelles. La musique de Tom Waits, tirée de sa composition The Black Ride r, entre accents langoureux et pulsation, soutient idéalement un duo acrobatique qui sait allier une technique irréprochable à une intention théâtrale très maîtrisée.
