Abstract
Cette bibliographie couvre les XVIIIe, XIXe et XXe siècles. Elle a été conçue dans le cadre d'études consacrées au vocabulaire nautique de la fin de la marine à voile en France et en Belgique et l'on y trouve essentiellement des ouvrages datant du XIXe siècle. Il ne s'agit donc pas du résultat d'une recherche visant à constituer un catalogue exhaustif, comparable à la Bibliographie maritime française de J. Polak (1976).Les fichiers des bibliothèques suivantes ont fait l'objet d'un dépouillement systématique entre 1983 et 1994 :Bibliothèque royale Albert Ier, Bruxelles Bibliothèque principale du Nord-Ouest de Bruxelles (Navidoc), Bruxelles Hogere Zeevaartschool - Ecole supérieure de navigation, Antwerpen Institut supérieur de traducteurs et interprètes, Bruxelles Nationaal Scheepvaartmuseum, Antwerpen Office québécois de la langue française, Québec Service historique de la marine, Vincennes Université catholique de Louvain
