Abstract
La présente étude porte sur le cinéma documentaire et son rapport à l'idée de communauté. L'enjeu d'une telle recherche est de déterminer en quoi la pratique documentaire peut recouvrir une expérience de la communauté et quel type d'expérience de la communauté est associé, impliqué et provoqué par la pratique et la réception documentaires. Dans cette optique, nous avons emprunté trois démarches : celle de la recherche historique, celle de la réflexion théorique et celle d'une étude critique de films choisis parmi la production francophone de l'ONF des années 1960 et 1970
