Abstract
Join Marjorie Stewart as she interviews Ryan Peppin, a VIU Media Studies student and one of the organizers of this year’s Nanaimo Global Film Festival, set to take place February 19 – 21 at VIU. They discuss the value of documentaries, the way festivals work, and refer to specific films of particular interest. There are some tips on parking and wheelchair access to the venues as well. For those who saw some of the films at the World Community Film Festival in Courtenay (or were not able to go), this is a way to catch films that you missed, as most of the same films will be here.
