Abstract
Một khối lượng nghiên cứu ngày càng tăng cho thấy biến đổi khí hậu không chỉ mang đến những rủi ro hiển nhiên như thời tiết cực đoan, mà còn tiềm ẩn các nguy cơ sức khỏe ít được chú ý hơn—trong đó có sự gia tăng của các bệnh nấm, điển hình như sốt Valley (Valley fever). Căn bệnh này, do hít phải bào tử nấm Coccidioides tồn tại trong đất, đã chứng kiến số ca mắc tại California tăng gấp ba lần kể từ năm 2014, gây ra các tình trạng từ triệu chứng hô hấp nhẹ đến biến chứng đe dọa tính mạng [2].
