Abstract
En este trabajo se discute sobre la necesidad de adaptar la enseñanza de la Medicina y de la Pediatría, teniendo en cuenta un equilibrio de la teoría y de la clínica durante la formación de pregrado, posgrado y formación continua. También se discute la importancia de la figura de los docentes. Se recomiendan mejores evaluaciones del estudiante y de los docentes. Se analizan las dificultades y la armonización de todas las Instituciones que están implicadas en la educación pediátrica. Se analiza un modelo de enseñanza de la Medicina y de la Pediatría en la Provincia de Québec en Canadá. Se dan pistas sobre la aplicación de las competencias transversales en un programa de formación en Pediatría.
