Abstract
Ce cahier résulte d’un maillage qui s’est déployé au fil du trimestre d’hiver 2021, lors duquel Catherine Cyr dirigeait un groupe de recherche, Approches écopoétiques des dramaturgies contemporaines, et Jonathan Hope animait un séminaire, Littératures animales, minérales et végétales au Québec. \n \nLe groupe de recherche invitait les étudiantes et étudiants à examiner, dans le paysage théâtral contemporain, les préoccupations écologiques et environnementales qui déplacent ou réinventent les rapports entre l’humain, la matière et différentes formes de vie. Ces nouvelles dramaturgies textuelles et scéniques proposent des agencements narratifs et sensibles qui désanthropologisent l’imaginaire (Sermon). Ce décentrement, qui peut se lire comme une remise en cause de l’anthropo(s)cène (Barbéris et Dubor), fait éclore des formes d’écriture singulières que nous nous sommes attachés, au sein de ce groupe, à explorer. Le séminaire, quant à lui, assumait une posture interdisciplinaire dans le but de développer une reconnaissance littéraire et sémiotique de l’autre-qu’humain au Québec, à savoir ces entités autopoïétiques (Maturana et Varela) et sympoïétiques (Haraway) comme des animaux, des minéraux, des végétaux, des insectes, des formations géologiques, des conditions météorologiques, ou des écosystèmes. Concrètement, cela impliquait de conjuguer une pluralité d’expressions, autant biosémiotiques que langagières, et de porter attention aux discours artistiques, doxiques, scientifiques, politiques et théoriques.
