Actualmente la mundialización ha propiciado intercambios y progresos en todo el planeta, día con día, y con la \nconstrucción de bloques comunes, como el caso de la Comunidad Europea, los poderes públicos han sido llamados a \nconcebir una política lingüística, a garantizar la prioridad de las lenguas y su aprendizaje. En el caso del francés, esta \nlengua sigue siendo partícipe de un esfuerzo de cohesión nacional en Francia y en Québec, y contribuye a la diversidad \ncultural en Europa, en África y en el mundo entero. \nEn este contexto, en el presente artículo se reflexiona sobre la importancia del francés como lengua de \ncomunicación internacional que está presente en los cinco continentes y cuyo proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje está \ninscrito en una perspectiva de diversificación lingüística y en una didáctica del plurilingüismo.
