Abstract
Questo elaborato prende in esame l'evoluzione del diritto all'interruzione volontaria di gravidanza nei sistemi giuridici di Common Law quali Stati Uniti d'America, Regno Unito, Irlanda, Australia e Canada. Partendo da una breve introduzione relativa al concetto di interruzione volontaria di gravidanza e della sua evoluzione, viene affrontata la tematica in relazione ai singoli Stati presi in esame iniziando dai cenni storici, affrontando i principali casi giudiziari fino ad arrivare alla disciplina attualmente vigente.
