Abstract
Colourful painterly summer floral watercolours at Ferguson Cottage Gardens in Cambridge Ontario, accompanied by classical guitarist James Bishop-Edwards performing Claude Debussy’s enchanting ‘Clair de lune’. This half-hectare riverside site, located on Absalom's Walk near the Sculpture Garden, dates to Scots emigre and blacksmith William Ferguson's 1836 farm. The Scottish stone cottage (circa 1895), was designated as a heritage property by the City of Cambridge in 1981. The current gardens were designed in 1990 and are maintained by the Galt Horticultural Society.
