Abstract
La présente étude de cas est une observation en terrain québécois de l'engagement envers l'organisation dans un contexte de changement organisationnel. Depuis plusieurs années, nous assistons à des processus de transformation organisationnelle majeure ayant d'importants impacts sur les structures hiérarchiques, sur le nombre d'employés et sur la nature même de leurs emplois. En lien avec ce nouveau contexte, les organisations demandent à leurs employés de demeurer engagés afin de faciliter le passage à la nouvelle forme d'organisation. Pour vérifier cet impact, nous utilisons une méthodologie mixte dont la partie quantitative est basée sur la traduction française du questionnaire développé par Porter et Smith (1970) le Organizational Commitment Questionnaire (OCQ) et basé sur leur propre définition de l'engagement. L'aspect qualitatif de cette étude utilise l'approche de l'analyse par théorisation ancrée de Paillé (1994) qui en somme est «une traduction-adaptation de grounded theory » de Glaser et Strauss.
