Abstract
Sono qui riuniti in volume saggi dedicati a testi narrativi di autori francesi e francofoni del Novecento, accomunati da una particolare vocazione alla distanza: geografica per quanto riguarda l'universo del Canada francofono, dell'Ile Maurice, dell'Africa francofona o di straniamento psicologico e ideologico nel caso dei romanzi francesi analizzati. Ne risulta un concerto in cui si armonizzano le voci di autori come Marie-Claire Blais, Marie-Thérèse Humbert, Malcolm de Chazal, Assia Djebar, Léopold-Sédar Senghor, Jules Romains, Jean Cayrol, Blaise Cendrars, Pierre Drieu La Rochelle, cui fanno da cornice le voci soliste di Alexandre Dumas e di Alessandra Lavagnino ad approfondire, nell'estensione spazio-temporale che segnalano, il senso di abolizione dell'alterità nell'accoglimento culturale
