Abstract
In deze kroniek over passagiersrechten voor luchtvaartpassagiers staan de ontwikkelingen op dit gebied in de periode 2018-2020 centraal. Er wordt aandacht besteed aan de Europese luchtvaartverordening passagiersrechten bij reisverstoringen nr. 261/2004 (hierna: de Luchtvaartverordening), het Verdrag van Montreal, de Europese aansprakelijkheidsverordening nr. 889/2002 en de Europese verordening exploitatie luchtdiensten nr. 1008/2008. Passagiersrechten in de luchtvaart staan niet stil, het Hof van Justitie van de Europese Unie (hierna: het Hof) heeft in de periode waar deze kroniek op focust vele uitspraken gedaan over de uitlegging van de bestaande regelgeving. Er is ook aandacht voor de nationale rechtspraak, de coronacrisis en de toekomst van de Luchtvaartverordening.
