Nell'elaborato 'I Paesi emergenti nel panorama vitivinicolo mondiale : una rassegna sulla situazione produttiva e sui trend commerciali' si è cercato di dare una visione più chiara possibile del nuovo panorama enologico con valutazioni che passassero attraverso la situazione produttiva, ovvero quali vitigni vengono utilizzati maggiormente e attraverso l'analisi dei trend commerciali ovvero come risponde il mercato a questi nuovi prodotti. La disamina non ha potuto esimersi dall'esporre un sunto della Storia dei singoli Paesi dal quale è stato poi semplice capire alcune meccanismi altrimenti complessi da decodificare. Infine un focus sulla legislazione viticola e come essa assecondi la crescita del settore vitivinicolo dei Paesi emergenti, garantendo disciplinari meno rigidi e mettendo a disposizione fondi e agevolazioni fiscali per rendere da subito competitivi il proprio marchio. L'elaborato si sviluppa seguendo un ipotetico viaggio attraverso i Paesi emergenti che sono stati suddivisi a seconda della collocazione geografica rispetto al Vecchio Mondo enologico euro-centrico : a Est sono stati presi in analisi Cina, Australia e Nuova Zelanda, a Ovest Canada, Argentina e Cile e al Centro, alle stesse latitudini del Vecchio Mondo, Regno Unito, Germania e Sudafrica. La scelta dei Paesi si è basata in alcuni casi sul loro status di importatori, in altri casi sul ruolo bi-dimensionale che essi hanno, sia importatori che produttori e l'ultimo criterio di scelta è stata la tendenza ad esportare la quasi totalità delle produzione. L'identificazione di queste tre tipologie di concorrenti, ha permesso di capire la situazione generale e di fare una previsione su come si evolverà il mercato del vino e la sua produzione. In conclusione questo dualismo, Nuovo-Vecchio Mondo, non deve essere visto in un'ottica di contrasto ma di cooperazione, con un unico grande obiettivo: portare in tutto il mondo la cultura del vino.
