Abstract
Onderzoek werd verricht naar het voorkomen van ochratoxine A in granen. Honderd monsters van diverse herkomst werden onderzocht. In 20% van de monsters kon de aanwezigheid van ochratoxine A worden vastgesteld. Het ochratoxine A gehalte in positieve monsters bedroeg in een monster ca. 17 mug/kg, in alle overige positieve monsters was het gehalte < 5 mug/kg. De positieve monsters waren hoofdzakelijk te vinden onder de produkten tarwe, rogge en haver, terwijl voorts bleek dat een groot gedeelte van de positieve monsters afkomstig was uit de V.S. en Canada. Monsters van Europese herkomst bleken minder frequent gecontamineerd te zijn met ochratoxine A. In de categorie reformprodukten werd slechts in een van de 19 onderzochte monsters een spoor ochratoxine A aangetroffen.
