La Argentina frente a un "nuevo" actor : Un análisis de la postura y las contribuciones del gobierno argentino en el G-20 (2008-2010)

Abstract
La Argentina junto con otros dieciocho países, más la Unión Europea, integran el Grupo de los 20 o G-20, ámbito que se ha convertido desde el 2008 en puntal de la incipiente nueva arquitectura económica internacional. Allí interactúan los representantes de las economías más avanzadas con aquellos de las economías emergentes en pos del objetivo mayor de garantizar la estabilidad financiera mundial e impulsar el crecimiento económico y el desarrollo. Partiendo de la consideración de la diversidad de sus integrantes, en el siguiente trabajo se pretende primero analizar las implicancias del G-20 específicas para la Argentina y segundo caracterizar la posición y los aportes que el país sudamericano ha sostenido allí desde la cumbre de Washington en 2008 hasta la cumbre de Toronto en el 2010. En tal sentido, son puestas en evaluación dos conjeturas: i) que la membresía al G-20 significa para el gobierno argentino la oportunidad de un relacionamiento directo con los líderes de las grandes potencias y de las potencias en ascenso y ii) que, a pesar de su posición relativa en el agrupamiento, la Argentina ha sido un activo protagonista en las cumbres realizadas, visible en la exitosa incorporación de sus propuestas.
