Abstract
Plusieurs recherches dans le domaine de l'itinérance s'intéressent à la question de la santé des femmes itinérantes. Cet état de santé se traduit par un aspect alarmant c'est-à-dire que les observations des divers acteurs touchés de près ou de loin affirment que la santé est critique et ce, tant sur le point mental que physique. Étant donné cette implication directe des intervenants sociaux auprès de cette clientèle et la présence accrue de la maladie chez cette même clientèle, il est donc pertinent de se demander: Qu'en est-il de l'intervention de type sociale faite à ce niveau? Quelle place les intervenants sociaux font-ils à cette maladie dans leur intervention auprès des femmes itinérantes? À partir de quelles représentations construisent-ils leur intervention? Cette recherche qualitative est donc centrée sur l'exploration des représentations de dix intervenantes sociales de cinq ressources communautaires différentes dans la région de Montréal."--Résumé abrégé par UMI.
