Abstract
La investigación aborda las significaciones indígenas de las “lechucitas tobas” comercializadas en ferias y puestos callejeros. El trabajo se focaliza en la obra y testimonio de Eduardo Custodio, artesano y presidente de la comunidad Raíces Tobas de la ciudad de La Plata, 2012-2016. Las figuras artesanales son interpretadas como materialización de un repertorio imaginario de motivos, en su mayoría, inspirados en el monte chaqueño. El análisis se orienta a profundizar interpretaciones que ponen de manifiesto el especial vínculo con el monte como “lugar de poder”.
