Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

"L’avenir (Looking Forward)" which will take place between October 21, 2014 and January 4, 2015. "Anna and the Tower : Multi Screen Video Installation" has been selected for exhibition as part of the Biennale. Curated by Gregory Burke, Peggy Gale, Lesley Johnstone and Mark Lanctôt, the 2014 edition of La Biennale de Montréal seeks to open up a space to explore how we imagine and trade on the future. It delves into the conditions that make certain futures possible while they foreclose others. The event will bring together the works of about 50 artists, on view at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Montreal (MACM) and in other downtown venues. It will also include a substantial bilingual catalogue, a bilingual Biennale guide (100-120 pages), a summit and an intricate program of talks, screenings and performances.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
