En marge du prochain Sommet des chefs d’États de la CEDEAO, un Groupe de haut niveau sur les migrations internationales en Afrique sera lancé le 6 juin 2017 à Monrovia, au Libéria, dans le but de promouvoir les questions de migration au sommet de l’agenda politique en engageant les principaux acteurs et partenaires. Présidé par la Présidente Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, le Groupe comprend des représentants du Libéria, du Canada, de la Chine, de Malte et de la Norvège, ainsi que de l’Organisation internationale du travail (OIT).
