Abstract
La intención de este trabajo es profundizar en la concepción del collage a través de la obra de Max Ernst –principalmente mediante el estudio de sus tres novelas collage: La femme 100 têtes; Rêve d’une petite fille qui voulut entrer au Carmel; Une semaine de bonté ou les sept éléments capitaux–, contextualizándola históricamente, estableciendo paralelismos, buscando posibles referentes… Intentaremos, además, responder a diferentes cuestiones (¿en qué consiste el collage?, ¿cuándo surgió?, ¿cuáles han sido sus principales exponentes?, ¿qué lugar ocupa el collage en la obra de Max Ernst?, etc.) a medida que desarrolle el tema con el fin de establecer un marco teórico que me permita analizar las novelas collage de Max Ernst partiendo de una base adecuada.
