Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

With the college basketball season pretty much over, the coaching shuffle has begun. St. John's, who fired Steve Lavin last week, has offered the job to Chris Mullin, according to what sources have told ESPN. Mullin, who's 51 and a St. John's alum, was one of the school's greatest players when he was there in the early 80's. He went on to a long NBA career with the Golden State Warriors and the Indiana Pacers. He has spent time working for the Warriors, the Sacramento Kings, and ESPN since his playing days ended. But has no coaching experience. DePaul hired Dave Leitao to be its new basketball coach over the weekend. Leitao, who was the school's coach from 2002 to 2005, reportedly signed a 5 year deal to return. His most recent job was as assistant coach at Tulsa. Leitao has been a head coach at Virginia and Northeastern. He replaces Oliver Pernell, who resigned a few weeks ago.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
