La présente recherche propose un portrait ethnographique de l’activité de transformation de l’environnement d’apprentissage d’une classe de 3e cycle du primaire. L’analyse de la relation Sujet-Instrument-Objet, motivée par les intentions des acteurs, et du déploiement de la division du travail et des règles qui se créent dans la communauté, nous permet d’analyser les contraintes que génère la nouvelle activité de transformation. Dans le cas de notre étude, l’intériorisation et l’extériorisation des instruments conceptuels (communauté d’apprentissage, stratégies pédagogiques socioconstructivistes et culture de réseau) et techniques (TIC, retours réflexifs, plans de travail et organisation physique de la classe) ont offert aux acteurs la possibilité d’adopter des stratégies pédagogiques socioconstructivistes, par l’entremise du travail en équipe d’enseignants, pour favoriser le développement d’une communauté d’apprentissage en réseau, de démocratiser et de faire apparaître de nouveaux rôles ainsi que de transformer collectivement des règles. Nous constatons que la généralisation de ces actions et de ces opérations a contribué positivement à la mise sur pied d’une communauté d’apprentissage en réseau tout en faisant émerger des pratiques favorables à la coélaboration de connaissances.\n
