Abstract
Actualment les poblacions de Manlleu i Torelló estan comunicades directament per la carretera \nBV-5224. Aquesta carretera disposa d’un traçat inadequat i d’un lamentable estat del ferm. A més \nconsta d’un pas a nivell al seu encreuament amb el ferrocarril, el pas a nivell de “La Miranda”. \nAixò fa necessari el plantejament d’un projecte que desenvolupi les mesures necessàries per \nconstruir una carretera que resolgui tots els problemes plantejats. \nDesprés de realitzar una primera visita a la zona del projecte, es va realitzar un anàlisi de \nsolucions per millorar l’enllaç entre aquests municipis. A més es va observar la necessitat de \nprojectar un pas a diferent nivell a l’encreuament amb el ferrocarril. \nDesprés d’analitzar les dues alternatives plantejades (veure annex 2), adequar la carretera \nexistent o construir una nova carretera, es va optar pel desenvolupament d’un projecte \nconstructiu d’una nova carretera. \nD’aquesta manera es va posar de manifest la necessitat de realitzar un projecte constructiu que \nvisualitzés la realització de la nova carretera Manlleu – Torelló que es veu reflexada en aquest \nprojecte.
