Abstract
Journey is based on the Life of Pi which is a Canadian fantasy adventure novel written by Yann Marte. As the structure of the story, it is divided into three movements which are Hesitation, Drift and Relief. The music delineates the life of protagonist Piscine Molitor “Pi” Patel, an Indian boy who explored issues of spirituality and practicality from an early age. He miraculously survived after a shipwreck and then realized the relativity of truth while drifting on a lifeboat in the Pacific Ocean. This piece dedicates to Pi and two-year journey in the United States.
