Abstract
The CCWE+20 workshop was held in Ottawa April 29-30, 2011. The purpose of this workshop was to review the 1992 report "More Than Just Numbers" of the Canadian Committee on Women in Engineering (CCWE). The CCWE report was a comprehensive review detailing the issues, goals, and recommendations for women in engineering. The workshop gathered members of the original committee, key stakeholders, students, and people from industry to examine past recommendations, progress and current issues and to develop new recommendations. \nThe NSERC regional CWSEs participated in the workshop. They presented national statistics related to the participation of women in engineering as students and professionals (historical and current). Their report also highlighted some of the CWSE activities that align with the recommendations in "More than Just Numbers" report.
