Red-winged Blackbirds awaking in the tall grasses and trees around the pond of Parc Jarry in Montreal. Overhead, an atmospheric cacophony of gulls flying and crying in the dark gray cloud-covered sky. In the background, the constant traffic of St. Laurent Blvd that runs along the park. Sounds like being at home. Recorded with an MS pair of Sennheiser MKH50/MKH30 into a Sound Devices 633, on the early morning of April 12th, 2017. /// Carouges à épaulettes se réveillant dans les hautes herbes et les arbres entourant l'étang du Parc Jarry à Montréal. Au dessus, une cacophonie enveloppante de mouettes volant et criant dans le ciel gris couvert de nuages foncés. En arrière-plan, le traffic incessant du Boulevard Saint-Laurent qui longe le parc. C'est comme ça que ça sonne, quand je suis chez moi. Enregistré avec une paire MS de Sennheiser MKH50/MKH30 dans un Sound Devices 633, tôt le matin du 12 avril 2017.
