Abstract
Ce mémoire étudie la réception de l'enseignement du concile Vatican II à propos de la Vierge Marie présenté dans le chapitre VIII de la constitution dogmatique Lumen Gentium, par la Famille Marie-Jeunesse, communauté nouvelle dans l'Église catholique au Québec, plus particulièrement dans ses statuts, son Livre de Vie et quelques articles du journal Le Veilleur, trimestriel édité par cette communauté. Il met ainsi en lumière une spiritualité mariale principalement axée sur la Vierge en tant que mère et modèle à imiter et dont la réception de l'enseignement conciliaire est influencée par le contexte socio-ecclésial contemporain. Il contribue à défricher un champ encore peu exploité dans le domaine de la mariologie. En effet, depuis quelques décennies, un nombre important de familles spirituelles se sont constituées, dans l'Église catholique, autour de la figure de Marie. Cependant, à notre connaissance, le discours marial tenu par ces nouvelles réalités, notamment en ce qui concerne la réception de l'enseignement conciliaire, n'a fait l'objet que de rares publications.
