Abstract
En esta tesis se analizan los procesos de producción discursiva del órgano de prensa del Partido Comunista Marxista Leninista del Ecuador durante la dictadura del triunvirato militar 1976-1977 y de la canción popular de Jaime Guevara entre 1984-1988 en el gobierno de León Febres Cordero, para conocer y reflexionar sobre el rol que cumplieron como productos culturales y herramientas políticas en los episodios de contienda política promovidos, en aquellos años, desde las clases subalternas.
