Abstract
At the University of Manitoba Libraries, we are exploring how concepts and tools of Personal Archiving can be part of our Research Data Services. We aim to use preliminary results from our online survey of data management practices and needs of researchers on campus, to devise discipline-specific strategies of employing personal archiving tools, and to leverage ideas and best practices from archives and libraries. Through our poster presentation, we will articulate the objectives of our research project as well as highlight what we perceive as potential outcomes, and hope to generate feedback from the DLF community on our work thus far.
