Abstract
The northern and central metasedimentary belts (NMB, \nCMB) are east-trending, regional (formation- to group-scale) \niithostratigraphic units within the Beardmore-Geraldton \nArchean terrane of northern Ontario's Superior Province. \nGravelly braided rivers deposited the lithofacies \nassemblage of clast-supported polymict conglomerate and interbedded sandstone that comprises most of the NMB. Felsic \nvolcanic pebbles and cobbles are the most abundant clast \nlithology. \nThe CMB contains several east-trendinq lithofacies \nassemblages that together form a generally northward coarsening \nsequence. The southern CMB is composed of \nmudstone, iron formation and sandstone with common graded \nbeds. This fine-grained assemblage is paralleled to the \nnorth by a horizon of rhythmically bedded and cross-bedded \nsandstone units, and a heterogeneous, conglomerate-rich \nassemblage. The northern CMB strata are mostly a conglomeratic \nassemblage similar in form (lithofacies) and composition \n(provenance) to the NMB. Some fine-grained units \n(mudstone. iron formation, graded sandstone) of relatively \nminor regional extent are present near the north margin of \nthe CMB. \nThe CMB's southern (lower) fine-grained subaqueous \nfacies are apparently capped at different sites by: 1) \nrhythmic delta front couplets; 2) sandy braided river \ndeposits with very rare associated intertidal strata; and 3) \na conglomeratic submarine fan or fan-delta front resedimented \nassemblage. The northern (upper) CMB is a gravelly braided \nriver deposit, with minor aquabasinal facies. \nThe CMB is probably a 1-2 km thick structurally modified \nhomoclinal sequence. Relative positions of its depositional paleoenvironments, as deduced from lithofacies \nassemblages, suggest that the epiclastic portion of the CMB \nis the record of a dominantly coarsening-upward, subaqueous to subaerial trend that was produced by a prograding clastic \nsystem(s), likely a number of fan-deltas. \nThe extreme eastern part of the CMB is composed of \ngenerally oligomict, coarse (conglomeratic) felsic pyroclastic \nand/or reworked volcaniclastic facies which are \nprobably subaerial deposits. \nSimilar clast compositions and several sedimentoiogical \ncriteria, including average maximum deformed clast size, \nstrongly suggest that highly proximal fluvial facies in the \nNMB and more distal fluvial and aquabasinal facies in the CMB \nwere originally part of a continuous coarse clastic wedge or \nsheet.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
