Abstract
Le présent mémoire rappelle 11 enseignement de cinq cours de Jasmin Boulay, à la Faculté de philosophie de l’Université Laval, des années 1962 à 1966. Il en manifeste les implications théologiques sur deux points relatifs à la foi: d’une part, en ce qui regarde 1 * environnement cognitif et affectif de celle-ci, et, d’autre part, en ce qui regarde sa proximité du concept d’aliénation. En regard de 1’environnement de la foi, il discute notamment de 1’admiration, du doute, de la cogitatio, de la crainte, de 1’angoisse et du désespoir. En regard du concept d’aliénation, il en fait ressortir certains sens, inhérents au propre de la foi, qui constituent une mise en garde pour le théologien et un remède à de possibles déviations du sentiment religieux.
