Volumul de faţă reprezintă, un important eveniment editorial al anului, din sfera literaturii.Onoarea publicului şi a cititorilor, deopotrivă, de a avea şansa să pătrundă în cele mai tainice gânduri ale lui Arghezi este cu atât mai mare cu cât rândurile acestui manuscris-tezaur ar fi trebuit să fie distruse. Anul 2012, anul publicaţiei volumului, este apoteotic pentru literatura română, dar şi pentru cea străină, care prezintă un real interes pentru scrierile argheziene. Gestul făcut de către Baruţu T. Arghezi, de a descoperi zestrea cuvenită posterităţii, păstrării şi valorificării împreună cu soţia sa, Doina Melania Arghezi prin Centrul de Cercetare a Literaturii Argheziene din cadrul Universităţii de Vest „Vasile Goldiş” din Arad, constituie un prilej de înaltă preţuire pentru aprofundarea cercetării ştiinţifice a marelui scriitor, Tudor Arghezi.Titlul volumului induce cititorului o nepotolită sete de cunoaştere, întrucât manuscrisul a urmat drumul invers al condiţiei umane care din pământ a fost făcută şi în acelaşi pământ se va întoarce. Mâna lui Arghezi şi spiritul său genial au răsturnat acest mit: opera sa a dăinuit în pământ, însă din duhul pământului a ieşit, pentru eternitate.
