Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

"Vigilant" was built of oak in 1896 at Port Huron, Michigan. She was owned in the middle 1900s by C. F. Mischler of Sandusky, Ohio. Sold Canadian (132752 or 133752) in 1913, she was renamed "Muscallonge". She was owned in 1925-1929 by Sincennes-McNaughton Lines of Montreal, Quebec, and in 1935, by James McLinice (also Canadian). She was used for rafting and wrecker. Her engine came out of the tug, "Dunbar", whose hull was made into a small steamer that was lost on Lake St. Clair. "Vigilant" was the last wooden house in tug building and was used for towing rafts from Oscoda, Michigan to Cleveland, Ohio. She was commanded by Captain Allum of Marine City, Michigan.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
