Abstract
This is the concert program of the Violas and Chocolates performance on Tuesday, October 18, 2005 at 8:00 p.m., at the Concert Hall, 855 Commonwealth Avenue. Works performed were Suite for Eight Violas by Gordon Jacob, Lament for 2 Violas by Frank Bridge, "Menuetto," "Walachian Song," "Pizzicato," "Song of the Bride," and "Dancing Song" from 44 Duets by Belá Bartók, Sonata for viola solo, Op. 25 No. 1 by Paul Hindemith, and Chocolates (torch songs for viola and piano) by James Grant. Digitization for Boston University Concert Programs was supported by the Boston University Center for the Humanities Library Endowed Fund.
