Abstract
In the article, the author examines the process of recognizing the franco-Canadian identity, as well as the question of the coexistence of francophone with anglophones in Canada. The chosen period is particularly acute, since it was he who had the complex burden of wars that the Metropolis was carrying out. Also, time is associated with acute nationalism in Canada. The author comes to the following conclusions: by 1910 there was a favorable situation for the coexistence of French Canadians and Anglophones in a single territory - Canada.
