SCRIPTA THEOLOGICA 25 (1993/ 2) colegas en la Facultad de Teología del Norte de Italia.No obstante, a pesar de esa simpatÍa, Canobbio adopta una posición propia, coherente con la línea media que ha mantenido a lo largo de toda la obra, sosteniendo que no cabe prescindir del término «laico» ni tampoco de los intentos de descripción, al menos tipológica, en referencia a las actividades temporales y a la secularidad.En este sentido, nos parece que se mueve en una dirección acertada, aunque su posición habría resultado más completa si hubiera concedido mayor atención e importancia a las conclusiones del Sínodo de 1987 y a la Exhortación apostólica Christifideles laici, que entran en las cuestiones planteadas con más hondura de lo que el autor da a entender.
