Abstract
[CA] Segons la FAO (Fundació de les Nacions Unides per a l’Alimentació i l’Agricultura), \nl’agricultura tradicional engloba les pràctiques agropecuàries indígenes, que resulten de la coevolució dels sistemes socials (patrimoni vegetal i coneixements de la terra que s’han adquirit \namb el pas del les generacions) i mediambientals locals (condicions climàtiques, edafològiques i \norogràfiques de la zona) generant una elevada agrobiodiversitat al món. \nA l'ombria del Benicadell es troba el terme municipal d'Otos, habitat per 504 persones. \nActualment destaca l’agricultura convencional, pel que moltes infraestructures com sèquies, \nestanyols o molins d’aigua, s’han anat perdent amb el pas del temps. Els darrers 10 anys s’han \nre introduït en alguns punts tècniques de l’agricultura tradicional local. L’objectiu d’aquest \ntreball es recopilar informació relacionada amb els cultivars tradicionals d’Otos i la seua manera \nde cultivar-los, així com recollir llavor per que puga ser conservada. \nMitjançant la realització d’enquestes a 13 veïns s’han catalogat 25 cultivars tradicionals. \nAquests cultivars s’han caracteritzat morfològicament emprant els Descriptors publicats per \nl’IPGRI (International Plant Genetic Resouces Institute) per a cada espècie cultivada, i s’han \narreplegat 17 lots de llavors per a la seva conservació ex situ.
