Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

The Toronto-based parent company of the adultery dating site Ashley Madison will pay $1.6 million in settlements following an investigation led by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission into a massive breach of the company's computer systems and the outing of millions of its members. Adultery dating website Ashley Madison is settling down while paying up.Parent company, Avid Life Media Inc., has been ordered to pay 1.6 million dollars in settlements by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission. The deal comes following an investigation by the F-T-C brought on after the hackers breached the company's systems last year. The hackers released information for millions of the site's members after the company didn't comply with demands to shut down Ashley Madison. The FTC's investigation found lax data security practices and it said the company made several misrepresentations, including a Trusted Security Award" that appears to have been fake.It also found Ashley Madison created bogus female profiles to hook male users. The actual settlement is for 17.5 million dollars......the remainder of which is suspended based on the company's inability to pay."

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
