Abstract
DANA D (Nordic Trax/2 Guerilla). If you are at all involved in Vancouver's club scene it would be impossible to have not met the man known as Dana D at least once, A self described "one man urban guerrilla multitask force." As a DJ, Dana is well known for his eclectic sets consisting of downbeat, hip hop, drum & bass, midtempo breaks and deep house plus whatever else captures his musical imagination. His abstract style has allowed him to open for many different people and bands such as Kid Koala, Tricky, Morcheeba, Carl Craig, Luke Vibert, The Herbaliser, Mark Farina, Saint Germain, Coldcut, Saul Williams and Anti-Pop Consortium, to name a few. In the future Dana will be releasing music on Nordic Trax, staying addicted to black wax, and spreading the word of the underground vibe.
