Alumnos de Medicina de la UPC son elegidos para realizar su externado en el extranjero

Abstract
En la UPC nos sentimos nuevamente orgullosos de los logros de nuestros alumnos. En esta oportunidad nos complace comunicar que un grupo de alumnos del sexto año (ciclo 12) de la carrera de Medicina de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud de la UPC, se encuentra realizando su Externado en importantes hospitales de Estados Unidos y Canadá. Son en total, 25 alumnos que este año realizarán su externado en el extranjero. En el primer grupo viajaron 20 externos (del 25 mayo a 18 julio) y en el segundo grupo viajarán 5 externos (del 21 de julio al 12 de setiembre). Cabe resaltar que la actual promoción de Medicina la conforman 91 estudiantes. Los alumnos que ya se encuentran realizando su externado en el extranjero han sido recibidos en hospitales de Estados Unidos y Canadá. Daniel Yumpo y Evelyn Mota, se encuentran en el Hospital Mc Allen en Texas; Luis Ng Sueng está en el Hospital Aurora St. Luke Medical Center of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; y Luis Delgado está en el Hospital General de Montreal en Canadá. Este ciclo, 25 nuevos alumnos les seguirán el paso a sus compañeros y viajarán a diferentes partes del mundo. La visión global que brinda la UPC a sus alumnos permite que se conviertan en profesionales líderes, capaces de desempeñarse con éxito en cualquier ámbito laboral del mundo. Este logro demuestra la exigencia y alta calidad de la formación que se brinda en la UPC y el gran talento de sus alumnos.
